There are so many amazing things about oatmeal but here are a few benefits to get you motivated.

  • Better Skin

  • Digestive Help

  • Weight Loss Aid

  • Lower Risk Of Heart Diseases

  • Faster Muscle Regeneration

  • Energy Booster

Better Skin

I don’t know about you but I am obsessed with my skin. Especially when it comes to keeping it looking young and clear, which is exactly what oatmeal does for you.

As a kid, my mom would soak us in a bathtub full of water and oatmeal when we got hella sunburns from playing at the beach all day. Sounds weird right? Well, it worked and now I know why, because science.

Oatmeal contains Zinc, Iron, and manganese along with a handful of other nutrients but, we are just going to focus on these three for now.

Zinc helps clear your skin from any blemishes by minimizing your pores and removing the toxins from them.

Iron helps by keeping the skin cells moisturized and nourished.

Manganese helps by reducing any swelling and inflammation in your body i.e PIMPLES!

Oats aid in the healing process for burns, bruises, and skin renewal.

Even if you don’t feel like eating a bowl of oats daily you can rub some on your skin to give it that extra boost.

Digestive Help

Studies showed that 59% of people who started eating oats daily in a 3 months span, no longer needed laxatives to help them in their daily lives[1]. Oats can help regulate people who suffer from IBS or IBSM significantly.

Weight Loss Aide

With the aid of digestion comes weight loss.

Oats contain an amazing compound called Beta-Glucan which helps keep you from overeating by curbing your appetite. Alongside this, oats are also great for boosting your metabolize and preventing fat and toxin from building up in your body[2,3].

Lower Risk Of Heart Diseases

Speaking of Beta-Glucan. Beta-Glucan is great for lowering blood pressure, improving circulation, and reducing cholesterol aiding your goal to make your heart more healthy everyday[4].

Faster Muscle Regeneration

Oats are a great source of protein for your muscles. So for any of my vegan-istas out there, oats are a way to go. Any bodybuilder or athlete will tell you the main thing you need for losing weight or bulking up is protein. Which is true but also carbs and fats. But, the good carbs and the good fats and oats are just that.

Energy Booster

Last but not least, with those healthy carbs and fats hitting your belly. You get a longer lasting hit energy that you need to get you through the day.

You'll also get a blast of antioxidants, vitamin E, and glutamine. Which are very important for your diet.
